June 18 Results

Next contest:  10:00 AM Sunday, June 26

  These are the players.  HCF welcomed Sherri to the field.  OK, the results were not pretty for Home Team as the three 'Juniors' demolished us 'Seniors'.  Russ, making his first appearance since 2011 was 'Mr. 3 Run Homer'.  Kartic...some pretty good fielding.  And, John, well, he was his usual menace at the plate.  For the Seniors, we gave it our best.

    

June 11 Game Results

Saturday, June  11

We can just call today John Montri Day.  We lost track of the round trippers but we do know that he scored 21 runs in the 5 man game.  That's 21!!  Second place went to newcomer, but no rookie, Randy, with 4.  He took a trip downtown with his first inning moonshot....not too shabby.  

HCF also welcomed Pat to the field who managed to push across 3 runs including a pair of dingers.

Kyle gets 'unsung hero' award for showing up with all kinds of aches in his pitching arm.  Great to have him back for the two June games he attended.  Next year, bud.

Great 5 man game today.  Some homers, acrobatic catches, and yeah, some K's.

Kevin drove the farthest to get to the field.  Milwaukee. Seriously, in the car at 4:30 AM  Steve, John (winning score) Kyle, and Kevin.

Opening Day 2016

HCF kicked off the season with neighbor families taking the field.  It was quickly apparent that all the kids have progressed from last season.  Thanks to Lily, Mia, Max, and Jack for being part of the action.

2016 Wiffleball

Honeycreek Field will open soon for the 2016 season.  I'm getting ready to begin work in the field.  I have some ambitious ideas that I hope will translate to an even better playing/viewing experience.

I'm looking for an optimum time that players have available to play.  I'm considering  Saturday 11:00 AM and a Sunday 4:00 PM time slots.  Let me know how this works.
