Saturday, June 3 Wrap

Classic pitchers duel with John L. dealing for the visitors and the home team using a new pitcher each inning.  It came down to two important moments:
1.  Abe's triple in the 4th inning plating a run and
2.  Amanda's catch of a vicious liner off the bat of Randy with the bases juiced and 2 out in the top of the 9th.  Great catch, game over!

Home Team...Walk off!

Great opener...just one home run....the veteran Rich Dishman sent a drive over John M.'s head that just reached the tall grass in left.

The Weather Prediction changed....but I am going to do everything I can to get the event in.  We'll see how it looks Saturday morning.  C'mon, weather...stay away!  Keep in mind the field does drain pretty well.

Sunday would be the rain out option.  Not that it is going to happen.  🙂

New addition to HCF

Opening Day approaching.....

It's time to get to work on the field...make an addition or two.  I'm thinking May will be the first game and I'd like to kick it off with a light snack.  This will be a Players Only Event...so, if you plan on playing this year please make plans to attend.  Details coming soon!
