Sept 24 Results

Great action on the field today as the 5 players represented their own teams.  John was by far the most prolific run producer as he parlayed a huge 10 run first inning into 27 runs after 5.  Great hitting to be sure.

Naresh continues to develop his wiffle skills as the young Indian prospect got in the scoring column and began to harness his pitching skills.  Very nice job!
The most animated of all the HCF players, Kartik (below) did his usual excellent job of pitching and fielding, an amazing fielder is safe to say, but the big surprise was his defensive management skills as he moved outfielders to the infield only to see the ball hit right to those relocated fielders, on more than just a few occasions.

Good job by Randy today as he was a bit hobbled from being stepped on the foot (again!!!) in soccer.  He still managed to put 3 runs on the board.

After getting on ball just to the pitchers mound in the first inning and being retired in order I was happy to see my bat come alive in the second and third inning where I managed to hit a round tripper in each inning.  The second one....okay, I'm just going to call it a majestic one   ha  ha  ha...may have been the longest homer to right field (according to field historian John Montri).  It was fun

Also, pictured in the center of the above photo is one of our 'new' maple trees that are beginning to show some fall color.

The pictures below are compliments of Claire Brody's work in the garden this year.  I've really enjoyed seeing the flowers every time I take a walk to the field.

The butterfly art work next to the butterfly bush...in bloom and looking nice.
