10-1-13 Results & New Photos


A couple of homers tonight by none other than our home run leader, John.

Observations:
It took a few pitches but Bill was back in the groove after a batter or two.  Had the curve going and plenty of speed.

I always enjoy looking at the butterfly along the way.


Susan painted the sign that acknowledges the name of the ball field


Nestled amid the recently donated flowers from Betsy Williams, children's book author and friend
is the stake that acknowledges the only no-hitter in the history of the field.

 At one point 'Dishman's Drive' was the longest home run (113').  We didn't know that Dave would shatter the
record just a week later.  Dave has his own stake located further out in the field .

89' down the line gets you a round tripper.  




Left Center, next to the American Flag, is the shortest 
part of the park aside from the right field corner at 95'
